In June 2025, QUASAR alum Laura Maddison won the University Joseph De Koninck Thesis Prize for her 2024 thesis entitled “Cryptanalysis of Multivariate-Based Post-Quantum Digital Signature Schemes”. This prize is awarded annually for a master’s thesis that makes an outstanding contribution to interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary research.
