Congratulations to Christine Schuknecht for successfully defending her thesis!

Christine's thesis, titled Quantum Private Broadcasting, presents and expands upon original contributions to quantum cryptography she made with Anne Broadbent and Carlos E. González-Guillén during the course of her studies. This work introduced the problem of t-recipient quantum private broadcasting, presented three different solutions to the problem, and defined a new mathematical concept dubbed symmetric unitary t-designs.

In addition to the successful defence, the thesis committee nominated the thesis for a prize.
